As a wedding venue Friars Court occupies two small but unique niches: firstly, as a venue which only offers ceremonies and wedding breakfast receptions we can offer couples the rare opportunity to have their wedding in the location they want at the time they want on the day they want across the year with none of the restrictions imposed by larger venues. Secondly, as members of the LGBTQ community, we'll have a natural understanding of the subtle differences that can come with a same-sex wedding - and so will our recommended suppliers (or we wouldn't be recommending them). Within the landscaped, moated grounds of the mid-17th century manor house are 3 outside licensed locations in addition to 4 more in the house - including the more contemporary Garden Room, the base for intimate wedding breakfast receptions up to around 40 people. Our approach is friendly, flexible and relaxed backed by many years of experience. The freedom of dry hire allows couples to create a truly personal wedding using their own suppliers and/ or our recommendations. Each and every Friars Court wedding is as unique as each and every couple.
